Plan, edit and pack
Start with the trip you expect
Use this tool as an editable starting point for a short holiday, family visit or work trip. Enter 1–60 days and 1–20 travelers with similar clothing needs. Choose the weather yourself; there is no forecast lookup. Accommodation and activity choices add relevant prompts without creating an exhaustive catalogue.
How the quantities work
The clothing cycle is the shorter of trip length and your laundry interval. Without laundry it is the whole trip. Allow one top for every two days and one bottom for every three, rounding up for each traveler. Underwear and socks use one per cycle day. Quantities include clothes worn during travel. Change these assumptions in the list for your habits.
Example 1: five days, two people
Without laundry, the five-day cycle gives 3 tops per person, or 6 total; 2 bottoms each, or 4 total; and 5 underwear items each, or 10 total. Shared booking details stay at one set. This is a planning estimate, not a recommendation that everyone needs identical clothing.
Example 2: laundry every four days
For the same five-day trip and two people, the four-day cycle gives 4 tops, 4 bottoms and 8 underwear items in total. Laundry arrangements are added. If washing or drying is uncertain, increase quantities yourself. Baby supplies are marked “Set amount” instead of using an invented daily allowance.
Will changing the conditions erase my list?
An untouched list generated from the initial examples clears when you start changing the example conditions. Once you check, edit, add or delete an item, the list is your draft and is preserved. Your existing names, quantities, categories, checks and notes remain, together with the conditions that originally created them. A notice appears when current conditions differ. Creating another list requires confirming replacement. Cancel keeps the current list. Restore never silently regenerates suggestions.
Can I add and remove items?
Use the pencil beside an item to edit it or see its reason. Save changes applies the edit; Cancel keeps the original. The trash button beside that same item deletes only that item. Add item opens an unsaved entry: Save adds it to the checklist and Cancel discards it. Finish the edit before printing, downloading text or saving project data.
Does this check travel rules or medical needs?
No. International travel adds a reminder to verify documents with official sources, and an adapter prompt. It does not check entry rules, baggage allowances or device compatibility. Personal and baby supplies depend on your routine. No medicine choice, dosage or allergy assessment is provided.
How should I save and print?
Create packing list shows your checklist directly in the Result area. Review quantities, tick packed items and make any edits there; the same current checklist is used for printing. Use Print / Save PDF below the result and choose Save as PDF in the browser dialog, or save a text copy. There is no second generation step after an item edit. The original trip conditions stay with the list until you explicitly replace it. Save JSON in Save or reopen to continue editing later. Optional browser storage belongs to this profile. Clear removes the local draft, not previous downloads. A new visit or reload starts with examples unless you have chosen to remember a draft. Clear empties the current page and removes the remembered draft; it does not permanently disable examples.
