Ticket Maker

Create numbered tickets for your own event, with matching tear-off stubs and print-ready sheets.

Make numbered tickets for your event

This ticket maker turns your event details into printable tickets with matching tear-off stubs. It suits community evenings, school performances, club meetings and small private events where someone will manage admission in person. You control the wording, numbering and paper layout. The tool creates a print document; it does not sell tickets, collect payments, verify guests online or issue tickets for an external venue.

Click the title, details, number, logo or border on the enlarged ticket to edit that part. Only one editing panel opens at a time; Done or Escape closes it. Number changes update both the ticket and its stub. Use Logo to add a missing image, Text style for shared font settings, and Paper & dimensions for the sheet layout. Gray examples disappear on focus and return when an empty field loses focus. To omit optional details, use Clear first and fill only the fields you need.

  1. Replace the sample event name, date and time, venue and extra information with your own details. Dates are printed exactly as typed, so use an unambiguous local format. Optional fields can be left empty after clearing the examples. Add a local logo only if it helps identify your event.
  2. Set the number of tickets, first number, minimum digits and optional prefix. Choose A4 or Letter, then adjust the ticket width, height and stub width. The minimum paper margin and gap leave room for the cutting marks. Check that the chosen ticket fits before adjusting its appearance.
  3. Choose the font, text size, alignment and frame. Review every sheet using Previous and Next, including the final partial sheet. Print / Save PDF opens your browser’s print dialog. After printing, use the corner marks to cut tickets and the dashed vertical line to separate each stub.

How numbering and sheet layout work

Numbers increase by one in reading order across the sheet, then continue onto the next sheet. Each ticket uses the same generated number for its main part and its stub. Minimum digits adds leading zeroes without cutting longer numbers. The prefix is text placed before every number. No record of earlier print runs is kept, so choose a new starting number yourself if you print another batch.

Example 1: the default 180 × 60 mm ticket, 10 mm minimum margin and 5 mm gap fit four tickets on an A4 sheet. Twelve tickets beginning at 1 with four digits produce three sheets numbered 0001 through 0012. The full grid is centered, so the actual outside margin may be larger than the minimum you entered.

Example 2: choose five tickets, first number 98, three digits and prefix CLUB-. The numbers are CLUB-098, CLUB-099, CLUB-100, CLUB-101 and CLUB-102. With the default A4 dimensions, the first four occupy sheet one and the fifth occupies sheet two. Each stub repeats its ticket’s number, including the prefix and any leading zero.

Print at the intended size

Select the matching A4 or Letter paper in the browser dialog, use 100% / Actual size, turn off headers and footers, and set margins to none. The tool already reserves its own margin. Save as PDF uses the same sheet layout as the preview. Test one sheet on ordinary paper before using heavier stock. Printer settings and feeding can affect physical alignment even when the PDF measurements are correct.

A run supports 1–500 tickets and at most 200 sheets. Ticket widths are 90–200 mm and heights 35–100 mm; stubs must be at least 25 mm and no more than 45% of the ticket width. Margins are 5–30 mm and gaps 3–20 mm. Event names allow 180 characters; each detail field allows 300. Use a prefix of at most 12 characters and whole-number settings for count, start and digits. The final numeric value cannot exceed 999999999.

Frequently asked questions

Why does a long title or number block printing?

Text is fitted into the actual printable area, down to 6 pt; numbers stay at least 8 pt and never wrap. If anything still overflows, printing pauses instead of cutting off information. Shorten the title or prefix, enlarge the ticket or stub, or reduce text size. The preview reports reduced text sizes so you can judge readability.

Can I upload an image or use Unicode text?

Choose a PNG, JPEG or WebP from your device, up to 2 MB and 16 megapixels. The logo keeps its aspect ratio and is resized to at most 1,024 pixels on its longest edge. Unicode text is retained, but fonts come from your device; inspect accents, Japanese text and unusual symbols in both the preview and PDF.

Will the stub stop duplicate entry?

A matching stub helps with a manual check at the door. It is not a security token or an online admission record, and a printed ticket can be copied. Arrange your own guest list or collection procedure. No QR code or scanning service is included.

Will my work survive a reload?

A draft is saved in this browser when storage is available, including your resized logo. It is not synchronized to another device. Clear resets the editor and its stored content; Remove beside the logo only removes that image. If storage is unavailable or full, keep the tab open and save your PDF before leaving.
