How to make an invitation

Use this free invitation maker for a birthday, dinner, graduation or small celebration when you need a finished card rather than an event management account. Choose Classic frame or Modern panel, enter the event name, date, time and location, and add a short personal message. The message and photo are optional; the other details are required.

The preview on the right updates as you edit. Create validates the current details and enables export; edit again to update the preview and confirm again before exporting.

A card with your photo

Choose a PNG, JPEG or WebP from your device. The complete photograph fits inside a reserved area without being stretched or cropped, so a portrait and a landscape photo leave different amounts of surrounding space. A narrow panoramic image may appear small. For a sharper result, use a reasonably large, focused photo; exporting a larger PNG cannot restore missing detail.

Files are limited to 5 MB, 16 million pixels and 8192 pixels along either side. A damaged file or an unsupported format leaves your previous photo intact. Remove photo creates a text-only card. Photos are processed locally and are not sent to an image service.

Two examples

For a birthday invitation, enter “Maya turns 30”, 2026-10-17, 18:30 and “12 Maple Street”, then add “Dinner and cake with friends”. The resulting card displays that date and time, the complete address and your message; it does not calculate a time zone or send an invitation.

For a graduation invitation, enter “Graduation picnic”, 2027-06-12, 12:00 and “Lakeside Park, north entrance”. Select Modern panel and add a family photo. A long location wraps within the card. The two styles use the same information and export dimensions.

Download, print and edit later

Download PNG saves the exact 1500 × 2100 pixel preview. At 300 pixels per inch this corresponds to a 5 × 7 inch card. Print card opens your browser's print dialog. Choose actual size or 100%, portrait paper large enough for the card, and disable browser headers and footers. You can also choose the browser's Save as PDF option. Printer margins, paper and ink affect the physical result; no commercial bleed or crop marks are added.

Save JSON preserves the editable text, style and photo, including unfinished details. Keep this file if you want to edit later; a PNG is a finished image, not an editable project. Load JSON accepts this tool's version 1 files up to 8 MB and replaces the current card only after reading the file successfully. There is no automatic saving or account storage.

What if my wording is long?

Event names allow 80 characters, locations 140 and messages 300. Text wraps and adjusts within reserved areas; if it cannot fit legibly, shorten the wording before exporting. Line breaks in the message are kept. Check spellings and the full address in the preview.

Can I send invitations or collect replies?

This tool creates a card. Send the saved file yourself using your preferred service. RSVP forms, mailing, guest lists and attendance tracking are not included.

Does JSON include the photo?

Yes. An attached photo is embedded in the JSON file. A text-only card stores no photo. The file may therefore contain personal information; keep and share it as you would the original photograph.

Why does the printed card look different?

The PNG and print use the same rendered card. Printer scaling, margins and color settings can still change physical size and appearance. Use the print preview to check a single card before printing copies.
