Turn the card, frame or photo

Choose Portrait or Landscape to change all three sides. Objects reflow without stretching photos. Undo restores the previous layout. Rotate photo turns the image inside its frame by 90°. Swap frame exchanges its width and height. Drag the round handle just outside a corner to rotate the whole selected object. Hold Shift for 15° steps. The toolbar’s rotate button turns it by 90°. Click the same overlapping spot again to select the next object behind it; dragging keeps your selection.

Choose the paper behind your design

Choose a paper colour, subtle snowfall, stripes or gingham in Background. Each side keeps its own background; the fine border is optional. Text that becomes hard to read adjusts automatically when you change the paper colour. Select an object to use the floating colour, layer, duplicate and delete tools. Detailed lettering and photo settings stay in the side panel. Background changes also support Undo and are included in PNG and PDF.

A Christmas card you can make your own

Start with Midnight garden, Velvet ribbon or Photo keepsake. Each is a complete starting layout, made from original lettering arrangements and drawn decorations. Select any photo, text or detail on the card to change it. The front, inside and back are separate editable sides; the printed card has one blank interior panel for handwriting.

Drag an object to move it. The small corner handle resizes it while keeping its proportions. Centre guides help align a composition. Open Size, position & rotation for precise percentages or a different angle. Positions refer to the object’s centre. The editor keeps the rotated object within the card, so changing its size near an edge may also move it slightly.

Add your own photos and words

Use Add photos to select one or more local JPG or PNG files. A card can contain six photo objects across its three sides. Each file must be no larger than 10 MB, 16 million pixels or 8192 pixels on either side. Photos are decoded locally, with camera rotation applied, and resized to a maximum 1600-pixel edge to keep editing responsive.

Select a photo frame before Add photos: the first file goes into that exact frame, replacing its image if needed. Additional files fill other empty frames, then become new photo objects. Without a selected frame, empty frames are filled first. Rotate the image, choose its frame and adjust Fill or Fit without changing the other photos.

Select a text object and edit Your words. Choose classic serif, handwritten or clean sans lettering, its colour, size and alignment. Add text creates another independent text box. Each box accepts up to 1200 characters, but the available space still limits what fits. Enlarge the box or shorten the text if the editor reports overflow.

Arrange the little details

Add a ribbon, foliage, sparkle, heart, gold sprig, Christmas tree, bauble, snowflake, candy cane or gift box. Each detail can move, resize, rotate, change colour, duplicate or disappear. Forward and Backward move a selected object one step through the stack. Open Objects on this side when something is covered by another object. A side can hold up to 18 objects.

Undo and Redo cover layout, text, photo and design changes. Up to 20 recent steps are kept; older steps may be released sooner to limit photo memory. Changing a starting design rearranges its preset objects while keeping edited words, uploaded photos and added objects. Clear empties the card; Undo can recover it during this editing session. Reloading, closing the tab or switching the page language loses the session.

Two ways to make a card

For a simple greeting, choose Velvet ribbon, select the large words and write a personal greeting. Edit the signature separately. Move or resize the ribbon if you want more space. Choose Create card, then save the selected side as PNG. The selection border and handles stay out of your download.

For a family collage, choose Photo keepsake and add two photos. Position the photographs, adjust their crops and overlap them using Forward or Backward. Select Inside to write a longer message. Choose the printing paper, create the card and save the folded PDF. Fill or delete any empty photo frames before saving.

Save a PNG or print a folded card

PNG saves the selected side at 1500 × 2100 pixels in Portrait or 2100 × 1500 in Landscape. The folded PDF has two A4 or Letter pages. Portrait cards finish at 5 × 7 inches on landscape paper, with back-left/front-right outside and blank-left/inside-right within. Landscape cards finish at 7 × 5 inches on portrait paper, with an inverted back above the front outside and a blank panel above the inside message within.

Use the paper orientation shown in Print layout. Print at Actual size (100%), double-sided, flipping on the short edge. Trim and fold at the marks. Test on plain paper first. This home-print layout has no professional bleed or CMYK separation.

Why is saving disabled?

Create card checks all three sides before enabling downloads. Editing anything requires another check. Empty photo frames or text that cannot fit block saving; the affected side and object are selected so you can fix them. Missing photos must be filled or deleted.

Can I use a keyboard or a phone?

Select an object and use arrow keys to move it, with Shift for a larger step. Delete removes it. Numeric size and position controls offer an alternative to dragging. On a phone, drag the object or its corner, then use Selected object below the card to reach its editing controls.

Can I write Korean, Japanese or emoji?

Yes, when your device has suitable fonts. Your preview is the rendered artwork used by PNG and PDF; the PDF embeds the image, not editable font files. Some characters may look different on another device or appear as boxes when a font is missing. Inspect your words before saving.

Do my photos leave this browser?

No photo or card text is uploaded by this editor. It has no account, online draft, print-order service or public sharing link. Download the files and choose where to share them yourself. Use photos you have permission to reproduce.

Why was an image rejected?

Check its format, file size and dimensions. HEIC, SVG, GIF and damaged files are unsupported. JPEGs with exceptionally large metadata can also fail the header check. A failed replacement keeps the previous valid photo. Export an ordinary JPG or PNG from your photo app and try again.
