Size chart

Rows follow size-label increments in each system. Additional sizes are inserted between rows; — means no corresponding label at that reference point. Measurements are rounded to 0.1 cm; these are comparison points, not fit ranges.

How to use

For a measured waist, use a tape over your clothes at the belt line. For trouser size, enter the waist number on an inch-based label (for example W34), not the measured body circumference. For reverse lookup, enter the belt’s US/UK inch label or EU cm label. Changing input type starts a new example.

Choose centimeters or inches, enter your measured value and select Find my size. Decimal points and commas are accepted. Changing units converts your current measurement. Editing a value or changing a selection clears the confirmed Result and Copy state. Copy result includes the measurement, reference and interpretation. Clear removes your values; muted examples return when you leave an empty example field.

How to read the result

Measured waist → nearest common belt labels in 2-inch US/UK and 5-cm EU steps. Trouser-label mode adds 2 inches as a dress-trouser rule of thumb before selecting labels; it is an estimate, not a correction applied to measured waist. Low-rise cuts and brands differ. Reverse mode subtracts 2 inches from nominal belt length and rounds to a whole-inch trouser estimate.

Examples

Measured waist 90 cm → US/UK 36 or EU 90 to try. These have different nominal lengths: 91.44 cm and 90 cm. Trouser W34 → approximately belt 36 / EU 90. Belt 36 → approximately W34 trousers and 91.44 cm nominal center-hole length.

Questions about fit

Does 36 mean 36 inches of waist?

On an inch-labeled belt it usually denotes nominal belt length, not the trouser waist label. A 36 belt is a starting point for W34 dress trousers under the +2-inch rule.

Why is 90 cm shown as US 36 / EU 90?

These are shopping labels, rounded to common size increments. US 36 represents 91.44 cm; EU 90 represents 90 cm. They are nearby candidates, not exactly identical lengths.

Do I add two inches to a tape measurement?

No. Select measured waist for the circumference taken over clothing. The allowance is used only when the input is a trouser label.

Can I determine the total belt length or exact fit?

No. The loose tail, buckle reference point and hole spacing vary. Compare the product’s center-hole measurement and adjustment range before purchase.
